orphan profile

this is a story that i wrote along time ago. Tell me what you think of it. :)

There was a girl named Megan Tutt and she’s from Fairview, Pennsylvania. Megan had to be on the orphan train because Megan’s mom could not get her enough food and clothes for her. Her mom can’t pay for her. Megan knew why she had to go but she did not want to go.
When she got on the train, she was made fun of because of her clothes. They were dirty and not in good shape. People called her dirty Megan. Megan did not care because all she could think about is what her mom said “I will come back for you some day I promise” she said. Megan knew that she would some day.
When she got to the first town she was the first one to get picked. She was 11and had 2 brothers and she would resell and she was strong so a guy picked she because was strong and she could do the work on the farm. Megan did not want to have some one tell her to do work that she did not want to do so she did the opposite of what he told her. He sent her back to the orphan train and she got picked again first and this time it was a couple. Megan though that they look ok for a family. They talked all the way to their house and the house was big and nice. They liked Megan for who she was not like that man did. Megan was at the Brower’s house for a year. Then one day Megan had a visitor and it was her mom and she was there to take her home with her. Megan was so happy but sad that she was leaving the Brower’s house. She went home and was never send back to the orphan train again.

I believe that every one needs a friend, and if you do have a friend you shouldn’t take them for granted. Everyone needs a friend because if you don’t have a friend that you can talk to you will just keep everything bottled up inside of you and you will get really stressed out. I feel like everyone should have some one to talk to about anything. If I didn’t have a best friend that I could tell anything to, I would be really mad and sad because would have to keep every thing inside. I remember when I had to switch schools and I didn’t know anyone and I had no friends. I had no one to talk to or hang out with. A lot of people made fun of me because at recess I had no one to talk to or play with. Then one girl came up to me and started talking to me. She was very nice to me. After that day we were best friends. If she hadn’t talked to me or had been nice to me that day I never would had a friend in elementary. I believe that even if you have a friend you shouldn’t be mean to them all the time. If you are mean to your friend all the time your friend won’t want to be your friend any more. At my old school I had a friend that I hung out with everyday. I was always mean to her and told her what to do and how to do it. She just did what I said and didn’t say any thing about it. Then in the middle of the school year she moved and I didn’t have anyone to hang out with any more. I felt bad for being mean to her and how I treated her. I just wanted to tell her before she left that I was sorry but I didn’t see her before she left. I felt horrible. Then I thought how lucky I was to have a best friend like that and how some people don’t even have friends. I though about how some people don’t have anyone to hang out with on the weekends. That day really changed how I treated my friends or just how I treated people in general. I will never treat a friend like that again. This I believe.
